Welcome to the Chatter...

The Chatter is the new SPIN blog and I a thrilled to be the coordinator of this avenue of communication. As the coordinator, it’s my privilege to not only write a few blogs but more importantly identify SPIN members willing to share their expertise, thoughts and opinions with the SPIN community.

That’s where you come in…..

If you have an idea for a blog, if you are a blogger or just want to try blogging, this is a great place to start.  And if you have no idea what a blog is, well, “A blog is defined as a discussion or informational site published on the world wide web (remember when we used to call it that?) consisting of posts by a small group of individuals or a single individual”.

So why a blog? Well not only is it trendy and we SPIN members must be trendy but blogs may be the future of communication.  If you are starting a business, looking for a job or just status quo, experts at Careerrealisim recommend you have a blog. Blogs communicate who you are and at least one career publication says that a Blog could replace the resume.

And we welcome your comments on the blogs, they will help all of us learn and grow. But please be respectful; remember we are a community of people sharing our opinions and learning from one another.  A quote associated with the late great Robin Williams, “Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind. Always.”
